The Beckley Family
Three Bars Guest Ranch is the year-round home of the Beckley family. Jeff and April, Tyler and Jenna, and Jesse and Dee share their western cowboy lifestyle of wide, open spaces and good friends with guests from around the world. The Beckley family is directly involved in all day-to-day operations of the ranch; we are in the dining room at meal times and around the ranch all throughout the day.
Jeff and April Beckley
With a degree in Agriculture and a rodeo background, Jeff has always been part of the cowboy lifestyle. Jeff runs all of the ranch operations and farming. He puts up all the hay and green feed for all our livestock to last each year.
April was raised on a combination cattle and guest ranch in a family where learning to ride is as natural as learning to walk. Cows, cowboys, and horses have always been a part of her life. While April spends much of her day in the Three Bars Guest Ranch office, her heart remains outside with the horses, gardens, and sunshine. Most afternoons you will find April in the arena, preparing for competitive reining.
Tyler and Jenna Beckley
Tyler is a third generation cattle and guest rancher. Having been born and raised in the industry, he is as much at home on horseback as guiding a rafting trip. Tyler runs the day to day operations of the ranch and will personally help you plan your time at the ranch.
Tyler will assist with your travel plans before your trip as well as help with your daily activities while you are here. He is an avid golfer and sneaks away for a round whenever time allows. If you are interested in the local courses, Tyler is a great resource for you.
Jenna has been with Three Bars Ranch since 2001. Originally working as a wrangler, she became part of Three Bars and over the years she has participated in all roles and responsibilities at the Ranch. While raising their young family, Jenna has taken on the role of Lodge Manager, overseeing the kitchen operation and guest services. She is always available to help our guests with any questions or needs they might have while staying at the Ranch.
Tyler, Jenna and their two kids, Chase and Mya, all live here on the ranch year round.
Jesse and Dee Beckley
Jesse started showing reining horses at the age of 12. Later, he continued his education in the horse industry, working a total of five years in Oklahoma and California for two of the top five reining horse trainers in the world.
He then returned to Three Bars Guest Ranch to run Beckley Reining Horses with his dad. Jesse is now a professional reining horse trainer, showing across Western Canada and the United States. Jesse oversees the health and wellness of our Dude String. He works with our wrangling staff and horses on a daily basis.
When not on the road, he coaches non-professional horse reining competitors and competitive reining horses here at Three Bars Guest Ranch. Dee is the mother of 4 children, Charley, Sawyer, Sydney and Bodie. She also does the embroidery work for Three Bars Ranch Store.
Each summer we share our lifestyle and this incredible place known to the world as the Canadian Rocky Mountains with clientele from around the world. Our guests soon become part of the ranch’s extended family. Join us for the experience of a lifetime.
