If time is a restriction, we suggest that you fly directly into Cranbrook airport and we will pick you up and transfer you, free of charge to Three Bars Guest and Cattle Ranch. Three Bars Ranch is only 15 minutes from the Cranbrook airport, so there is no need for you to have a car rental while you are staying at the ranch.

The drive directly from the Calgary airport to Three Bars Guest and Cattle Ranch is 4.5 to 5 hours. There are daily flights from Calgary to the Cranbrook Airport. When time allows, Calgary is an ideal airport to base your flights from. To drive here from Calgary, you have two routes from which to choose. The northern route takes you through Banff and Lake Louise parks. These national parks are vast and beautiful with a host of things to do from sightseeing to hiking. Accommodations in the parks range from cabins to the Banff Springs Hotel, which rivals the finest hotels of the world. The southern route takes you down highway 22, known as the cowboy trail, it is known for its rolling grasslands and vast cattle ranches.
Points of interest along this route include the Frank Slide and the Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump (a Native American culture centre). Our guests often choose to do this as a circle tour, taking the southern route down and the northern route on their return trip.

The most direct drive from Spokane international airport to Three Bars Guest Ranch takes 4 hours. The suggested drive is via Coeur d’Alene and Sandpoint Idaho, known as the Lake Country to the ranch. The extended itinerary takes you through the Okanagan – the wine and orchard area of British Columbia.

The drive directly from Kalispell to Three Bars Ranch is 2.5 hours. Kalispell airport, also known as Glacier Park International, is the gateway to Glacier National park. The Canadian side of this park is known as Waterton. You can drive via the park from Montana into Canada. This is a breathtaking drive. The drive from Waterton to the ranch takes 3 hours.

The drive from the Vancouver airport is about 10 hours to Three Bars Guest Ranch. There are daily flights from Vancouver directly to Cranbrook airport. Travelers driving from Vancouver have two options. The northern option will take you to the central grasslands of British Columbia via Kamloops, then to Revelstoke and the Canadian Glacier park.
The southern route takes you through the Okanagan – the vineyard and orchard country of British Columbia.
