COVID 19 – Coronavirus Information
Howdy! We are looking forward to having you at the Ranch this 2020 Summer Season. Keeping in mind the ever changing Covid – 19 situation, rest assured that Three Bars is keeping track of the most recent changes and policies to be able to open the Ranch in a safe and efficient manner. We have a lifetime of experience in providing incredible ranch vacations to our guests, and we plan to continue doing exactly that, while doing our best to keep you safe in every way possible.
Things at the Ranch may be a little bit different while we implement new procedures, guidelines and restrictions, but we wouldn’t be inviting our guests to join us unless we could ensure the that your experience will still be phenomenal. At Three Bars, we will still ride horses, hike to the waterfalls, go river rafting, try out shooting sports, take out ATV tours and ebike trips and so much more.
Our staff will be trained on the most current guidelines for social distancing and sanitizing procedures. We are very lucky to have a lot of our great staff returning from past years! This allows us to focus on training of our new procedures for each area of the guest ranch.
Our new plan takes steps to ensure that you and your loved ones are as safe as possible at the Ranch while you are with us. We can’t guarantee that the risk of exposure to, or contraction of coronavirus can be eliminated while you are at Three Bars. What we can do is share some of our plans and changes that are being made to open under the safest conditions possible for your vacation, and therefore lessen the risk.
*We will ask guests to take to please take all precautionary measures to limit their exposure while traveling to the ranch.. We will also be doing daily voluntary temperature checks on guest. Daily temperature checks will be standard procedure for all staff.
* Our meticulous cleaning procedures that have been in place all along will continue with the addition of more detailed disinfectant protocols. There will be increased disinfectant cleaning done in the main lodge and common areas. We will not offer daily housekeeping (by CDC order)
*Our main lodge if over 7500 sq. feet. This allows us great flexibility in social distancing practices in the bar area, living rooms and our dining room. Our outdoor patio will also be available for meals, allowing ample space for our guests and staff to social distance easily.
*All food and beverages will be served by our staff wearing masks.
*Hand washing, sanitizer use and regular wipe downs of hard surfaces will be constant in the kitchen and throughout the common areas of the ranch. We will have plenty of Hand Sanitizer available and ready for your use.
*Three Bars will be providing a western bandana to each guest at the ranch, this can be used as a face covering for times that close contact may be unavoidable. You are welcome to bring your own mask if you choose to do so. We will not require guests to wear a facemask, but will make the bandana available to you during your stay.
*Drivers and Guests will be required to wear mask when in ranch shuttle vans. Luckily we do everything in house and on site, so rides are short and limited.
*In accordance with the then-current gathering restrictions, we may have to give separate orientations, stagger rides, shooting sport, pool and hot tub use, and re-configure evening activities. But please know that we are thinking and talking all of it through and are coming up with fun alternative activities if they are needed.
*Communal equipment and gear will be wiped down after each use.
*River rafting will be operated under the provincial guidelines.
