The Family

     Three Bars Ranch is the year-round home of the Beckley family. Jeff and April Beckley, Tyler and Jenna, and Jesse share the western lifestyle of wide open spaces, good friends and the cowboy way of life with guests from around the world. The Beckley family are all involved in the day to day operations of the ranch, we are in the dining room at meal time and around the ranch all day.

Jeff and April Beckley

      With an agricultural degree and rodeo background, Jeff has always been part of the cowboy lifestyle. Jeff trains reining horses for Beckley Reining where you will find him most mornings in the arena.His training facilities are right here at the ranch barns where guests are welcome to watch as Jeff and his horses prepare for the international show circuit. He and Jesse do an evening demonstration of Reining once a week. Jeffs new interest is in training gun dogs, with this new interest comes the new opputunity for our guests. Jeff has expanded the ranchs activities in the fall to include the opputunity to hunt pheasants with him and his dogs here on the ranch.

      April was raised on a combination cattle and guest ranch in a family where you learned to ride soon after you learned to walk. Cows, cowboys, horses and guests have always been part of her life. While the Three Bars office now takes up most of April's days, her heart is still outside with the horses, sunshine and the ranch gardens. You'll find April, who now rides competitive reining horses working out in the arena most afternoons at Three Bars.

Tyler and Jenna Beckley

      Tyler is third generation cattle and guest rancher. Having been born and raised in the industry, he is as much at home on horseback as guiding a rafting trip. Tyler is back at Three Bars after being away at business school. He heads up Ranch activities and is our head wrangler. Tyler will assist you with your travel plans before your trip as well as help you with your daily activity while you are here at Three Bars. Tyler is an advid golfer and trys to sneak for a round whenever time allows, if your interested in the local courses Tyler is a great resourse of information for you.

      Jenna started at the ranch as a wrangler years ago. After two seasons here at the ranch Jenna decided she wanted to stay in the area and transfered to Cranbrook to complete her degree in Education. Tyler and Jenna were married in 2008. Ty & Jenn built a home here on the ranch and Jenna teach's grade school in Cranbrook during the winter. Summers Jenna is still very much a vital part of the horse operations where you will find her most days. Jenna like the rest of the Beckleys has a stong interest in horses and being active outside whenever time allows in her schedule. Jenna often leads the hike to the waterfalls and is one of your guides on the rafting trips.

Jesse

      Jesse started showing reining horses at age 12, continuing his interest and education in the horse industry he moved to oklahoma and california for 5 years where he worked for two of the top 5 reining horse trainers in the world. Following this time he returned to three bars ranch to run beckley reining horses with his dad. Jesse is now the professional reining horse trainer he shows reiners around the canadian and US West. When not on the road he coaches non-pro reining horse competitors and competitive reining horses here at Three Bars. A favorite pass time of guests is to stop by the reining arena to watch these amazing horses and jesse at work
