You must have extensive horse and riding experience - and a lot of stories to tell ;-) - in order to lead trail rides and care for our herd of 25+ horses.

At the ranch, we work together as a team with one goal in mind: To provide the best vacation experience possible for our guests. This is easy since we are enthusiastic about what we're doing - and this is what we expect from you.

During your free time, we encourage you to participate in ranch activities such as fishing, hiking, swimming, etc. Working at a guest ranch is strenuous physical work requiring long hours, so we are looking for individuals who are absolutely into living the western lifestyle and sharing all aspects of a guest ranch operation with lots of fun and happiness and in a good mood - no matter how stressful it might get ;-)

That’s why we are looking for individuals with knowledge, enthusiasm, lots of energy, and the desire to work hard and love to be part of our team!

Job Requirements:
* At least 21 years of age
* Strong horse and riding background
* Commitment to Honesty & Excellence
* Positive, Team Work Attitude
* Strong knowledge of horses, saddling, bridling and care
* Experience with ranch work like fencing
* Experience in operating the chainsaw
* Experience in carpentry and different kind of woodwork
* A desire to ensure people have the best vacation they can.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - being a "people's" person"!
* Western dress: hat, boots, shirt.
* Valid Drivers License
* current CPR certification and first aid card

Required experience
•Minimum of 5 years riding experience
•Previous experience of handling and caring for horses
•Knowledge of safe horse handling techniques
•Ability to instruct guests in safe horse handling techniques
•Good communications skills
•Must be physically fit and able to handle lifting saddles weighing up to 40lb
•Ability to identify and correct undesirable behaviour in horses
•Ability to speak, read and write English to a high standard
