Woman's Only Week, May 30th - June 5th
Time to cowgirl up! Every woman has a cowgirl within, come find your cowgirl side with us here at Three Bars Ranch for a fun reinvigorating week on the ranch. Bring a group of your friends, sister, mom or come out to make some new friends. The Beckley women have put together a fun week at the ranch designed especially for our "cowgirl" friends. Of course you will have all the horse time you wish to have with some time dedicated to help you connect with your horse in lessons and basic horsemanship class. Cattle Drive Weeks June 13th - 19th September 5th - 11th
Saddle up cowboy! Twice a year Three Bars Ranch invites our guests to join head cow boss Terry Knudson and the rest of the cowboys on a cattle drive. Three Bars is a fully functioning cattle ranch and home to 150 mother cows. During the summer months, the cattle are out on open range. The range is seperated in to large pastures, ranging in size form 20000 acres to 40000 acres. In order to keep the catttle on good grass, every six weeks the cattle need to be gathered up and moved from one pasture to another. This is where you come in. While cattle work in the mountians is very difficult to schedule, riders do return to the ranch every evening. The normal riding program is also available during these weeks. Calgary Stampede July 9th - 18th
For 10 days in early July the city of Calgary plays host to the largest outdoor show and rodeo in the world. The Calgary Stampede is 10 days of rodeo, chuck wagon racing, musical concerts, and carnival. Located 4.5 hours drive from the ranch, with the beautiful Banff National park on route, the Calgary Stampede is a great way to kick off or rap up a Three Bars Vacation. Cranbook Pro Rodeo Aug 20th- 21st -22nd
Every August the city of Cranbrook plays host to the Pro Rodeo Circuit. The rodeo runs evening performances Friday and Saturday and an afternoon performance on Sunday. The friday night proformance is a great way to wrap up your week at the ranch. Staff and guests enjoy the wild, up close action alike. For guests arriving on Aug 15, if you can arrive in town a little early, you can take in the afternoon performance before checking in at the ranch.
