August was fantastic, great weather and even better experiences!!! We are moving into September and looking forward to the fall program.

August started off with hot, sunny days and great trail rides. The boys were still up to their antics and kept everyone laughing. The weekend of August 9th was the Cranbrook Pro Rodeo. All of the wranglers and guests enjoyed the evening events and watched some great cowboys perform. August was a busy month, we spent the afternoons hiking to the creek, rafting in the river, riding on the trail and skeet shooting.

As September approaches we are starting to see cooler evenings and mornings, but still enjoying the mid 20's during the afternoons. Most of the horses have had their shoes taken off, and have been sent to the mountains to eat and relax after a good season. They have a great life here at Three Bars working for 4 months and eating for the remaining 8!

We are just taking the second cut of hay off the fields, another week and we should have the haying all wrapped up for the year. The horses and cows will all enjoy the hay throughout the winter months.

Three Bars is offering an early booking special for the summer of 2009. If you book before November 15th, we will deduct $100 off each persons week long stay.  

Big news!!! DELTA Airlines is offering scheduled flights from Salt Lake nonstop to  Rocky Mountain International Airport (Cranbrook) on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday beginning December 17th 2008.  Putting Three Bars a 15 minute drive from an international airport! 

MORE BIG NEWS!!! We are opening the ranch for 2 weeks this winter. From the 26th of December to the 4th of January. Come and stay with us and enjoy the numerous ski hills, snowmobiling tours, dog sledding, cross country skiing and more!!! The ranch will have a warm and cozy cabin waiting for you, and hot, home cooked meals! Contact the ranch for more information.
